Bear Paw Resort is located near Park Rapids, MN and is only 200 miles northwest of the Twin Cities and 92 miles East of Fargo ND. Located nearby is Itasca State Park, home of the Headwaters of the Mississippi River. You can walk across this majestic river at the beginning of her long journey.
If you reference to an online map service, make sure you specify County Highway 50 Becker County otherwise it may show you a County 50 in a neighboring county Hubbard.  For those of you using a GPS, Type in BEAR PAW RESORT on Google Maps or use Latitude 47.035534Longitude 95.19241.

From Park Rapids: North on 71 approximately 11 miles (1 mi pass Evergreen Park formerly World of Christmas), turn left W on county 41 (Two Inlet Road) go 2 miles, turn left on County Hwy 50 go 1 mile and we are on your right.

From Itasca Park south entrance: South 71 about 10 miles, turn right W on county 41 (Two Inlets Road) go 2 miles, turn left on County Hwy 50 go 1 mile and we are on your right.

For those traveling from the Twin Cities: There are 2 options:  Take I-94 West to Clearwater Rt 24 to 10. Take 10 through St. Cloud and Little Falls to Wadena and pick up 71 North from there.     or     Take I-94 West to Sauk Rapids Hwy 71 North.From Fargo area: (Short Cut) Approx 92 miles;  * Note* The navigation devices use CR-# for our County Highway roads.  Route 10 East thru Detroit Lakes picking up 34 East.  Just past “Height of Land Lake”, passing mile marker 51; turn left on County 37 or Shell Lake Road.  This is a paved road that initially heads north and then you will head NE to E and it turns into CR-58 and then it turns into CR-44; stay on it all the way through Two Inlets (which has a country store on your right and St. Mary’s on your left).  Then another 3/4 mile you turn right on CR-50, and we are 1 mile on your right.   Don’t turn off of the main paved road; stay heading east, northeast. (You may see where County 44 splits off and can turn south to Ponsford; don’t turn off here; pavement will end into gravel roads. )
